This week brings a particularly strong concentration of drawings to the market, and we are pleased to present a curated selection of works distinguished by their quality and interest. Our Private Viewing invites you to explore our online exhibition, Recent Acquisitions, available until the end of May, presenting a refined selection of works recently added to our collection. The exhibition is led by a rare and previously unpublished oil on paper by Giovanni Benedetto Castiglione, known as Il Grechetto (1609–1664), a work of exceptional rarity. Among the highlights are also two very rare drawings directly connected to Michelangelo, remarkable discoveries that shed new light on his compositional process.
